At WRAA we take child and vulnerable adult protection serriously and we have strict guidelines and policies in place that govern the way the club operates.

Our connections with Youth Groups mean that we have a responsibility to them and our members when attending events, and so we ensure that there is always a member who has been enhanced CRB checked participating in any event where members come into contact with young people and vulnerable adults.

many of our course tutors also have enhanced CRB status thus reinforcing our responsibilities.

Members of the WRAA are not automatically CRB checked whrn they join the group, however we reccommed that they seek enhanced CRB checking if they wish to participate in youth activities as an event manager, where no other CRB checked person is available. Until that time, we ensure that they are always accompanied by a verfied person.

Our group has an open door policy, and as such we endeavour to ensure that all members are protected by our constitution and guidlines. We do not however condone any innapropriate behavior by our members, and such activities will exclude any member from the group after investigation prooves that such activities have taken place.
